The Marina d’Arechi team will travel 8,900 kilometers across Europe and the international nautical markets in 2018. They already have 3,000 under their belts with the Dusseldorf Boot and the London Boat Show, where Marina d’Arechi cemented its reputation as a top player in the sector. With over 5,000 still to go, the MdA brand is ready to affirm its presence at some of the most prestigious events in the industry.
The Salerno port is positioning itself ever more prominently in the global vision of the sector as a whole. As the sole leisure boating structure in Campania to advertise in international contexts, Marina d’Arechi closed 2017 with extraordinary results, results that the team is determined to improve upon further in 2018. After bringing home over 300 contacts so far from industry shows in London and Dusseldorf, they now have their sights set on two elite nautical shows: the MYBa Charter Show 2018 in Barcelona, taking place from 23rd to 26th April and the Palma Superyacht Show 2018, in Palma de Mallorca from 27th April to 1st May 2018.
In 2017, one in three of the boats entering the waters of Marina d’Arechi was in the megayacht category. This has been confirmed by a survey carried out within the port, which last year affirmed itself as a point of reference in the Mediterranean for this exclusive market segment. More specifically, the port’s own statistics show that in the last year 30% of the vessels passing through were 25-90 metres long. Significant numbers which exclude further vessels of up to 100 metres. These figures confirm the excellent quality of the infrastructures at sea as well as the wide range of services suitable also for clients with significant spending power. These are just a few of the reasons that vessels of this kind feel safe and secure when berthing at Marina d’Arechi.
